Current Students
Current and newly-admitted students are encouraged to join the Military and Veterans Resource Center (MAVRC) on Georgetown’s engagement platform—Campus Groups. Georgetown houses over 200 joinable student organizations and hosts over 2,000 events annually, so we encourage you to get involved and take advantage of everything Georgetown has to offer.
Students can register for MAVRC events via our Campus Groups page. Additionally, the MAVRC will distributes a monthly-newsletter to current students containing:
- Major MAVRC Updates
- MAVRC job postings for students interested in working in the center
- Fellowship and scholarship opportunities for military-connected students
- External veteran support services and programs
- Employment opportunities
The MAVRC also recommends that all current students:
- Join the Georgetown Military Network to engage with past and present Georgetown military connected students.
- Get involved with Georgetown’s Military Connected Student Organizations.
- Attend office hours regularly to engage and build relationships with faculty.
