Advising
The MAVRC offers advising for:
- Admissions
- Financial Aid
- Benefits Process
- Education Planning
- Informal Career Counseling
- Military-to-Civilian Transitioning
Advising offered by the MAVRC can take many forms. Admissions advising can help prospective students by reviewing application materials, including personal statements and statements of interest, to more general advisement concerning financial aid offered by Georgetown. Once you have selected your desired program and secured any available funding, the MAVRC can provide assistance with career counseling and aid those transitioning from military life to civilian.
Current and prospective military-connected students and student veterans can schedule time with either a member of the MAVRC staff or the MAVRC Director. Interested parties are encouraged to meet with the MAVRC Director prior to the start of classes to give time for connecting to various campus resources. Using the button below, students can make an appointment on our Calendly.
