Mentorship Opportunities

Hoya Gateway launched the Georgetown Military Network (GMN) group to connect the Georgetown student and alumni military-connected community for mentoring, transition and career development opportunities. Mentorship connections include student to alumnus, student to student, alumnus to student, and alumni to alumnus to alumnus.

The GMN has just launched a “Group” on the platform, which is an exclusive section of the system allows you to easily find professionals, engage in relevant conversations on the Discussion Board, and find important resources related to your interests.

The University is expanding the Hoya Gateway platform to stimulate engagement across the Georgetown military network and hope that you will join the group to connect with military-connected alumni and students. The goal is to create a responsive, engaged community to better serve all Military Hoyas. Sign up today to join this vibrant network!

Stay Connected with the Campus Military-Connected Community

Stay connected with the Georgetown University Veterans Office by submitting information to the Veterans Office Alumni Database to learn about programs and initiatives happening on our campuses.

Our office understands that your inboxes receive heavy traffic already, so communication will be limited. Your contact information will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

In addition, if you are interested in mentoring current military students, you can indicate your interest on the form and our office will be able to connect you with current students who are interested in similar career fields. The form is structured that you can edit your information if your contact information or career fields change.

Supporting Future Military-Connected Students

The Alumni Admissions Program (AAP)  is a worldwide alumni volunteer organization that coordinates and conducts the interview process for first-year and transfer applicants to Georgetown University. Over 6,000 alumni strong, the AAP interviews the vast majority of applicants.

Members of the AAP may be involved in the admissions effort in a variety of other ways, including attending receptions, college nights, and local business meetings.
